Larrie Derman with his son, Larrie II, in one of three existing 1911 Maxwell Cars, one hundred years old. 

Larrie restored this car himself; it took four years.  The other two Maxwells are in California.

The Altoona Tyrone Speedway used to get crowds of 100,000 for a race at Tipton. Here, visitors looked at some of the special things gathered inside the museum to remember the speedway.
