The Tyrone Area Community Organization is devoted to serving the Tyrone, Pennsylvania area.

The 2003 TACO Radio Auction will be held February 8th, beginning at 10:45 a. m., on WTRN 1340 and originating from the new offices of the Tyrone Daily Herald next door to the Post Office.  Look soon for some of the items to be auctioned off - they're in Attorney Ned Newlin's Office.

Highlights of TACO's 2002 CHARTER NIGHT

Tyrone's Reservoir Park is the location each spring for the TACO Fish Rodeo.

 

TACO President Ruth Brower holds one of the outstanding items that was auctioned off during the annual TACO Radio Auction.  Other officers of  TACO are Vice President, Dave Kaup, Secretary, Penny Woomer, Treasurer, Ann Brower, Directors, Bob Grager and Mary Ellen Hoover.  

Bob Grager and Dave Kaup hold some of the items that were auctioned off to provide funds for the many worthwhile projects of TACO.

Only Buddy and Bob are TACO members.  The other guy in the middle was a visitor.

Joe Ieraci, talented Tyrone Artist, gave this beautiful acrylic painting to TACO to be auctioned off.  The lucky bidder got a marvelous painting.

Dues are $10 a year.  These members are showing some great bargains.  During the 2002 Radio Auction, they were sold to the highest bidder.
